Congratulations to Mr. WONG Chi Ngai, a CMBI student who won a government scholarship

Mr Wong Chi-ngai is currently an undergraduate student majoring in cell and molecular biology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and intends to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Neurosciences at Stanford University in the United States. 

This year, he has been selected as one of two recipients of the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowships for Overseas Studies 2024/25 out of 241 applications received. This Fund is committed to providing opportunities for young and more mature people to continue their education for the betterment of Hong Kong, and competition for overseas fellowships and scholarships for the 2024/25 academic year was extremely keen. The maximum value of the scholarship for each awardee is HK$300,000 per year, covering university fees and living expenses.
